Trumpf - TruTool FCN 250 Fiber Composite Nibbler is designed for a wide range of fiber composite materials such as carbon fiber, glass fiber, or even aramid fiber composite materials. TruTool FCN 250 Fiber Composite Nibbler, is be able to cut material up to 2.5 millimeters thick. The machine can be used in all industries where lightweight components are used – from the sport and leisure, to prototype manufacturing, right through to the aviation, aerospace and automotive industries.
Manual cutting of fiber composite materials poses a real challenge in terms of precision and clean cutting edges. This often results in fraying and de-lamination. Additionally, cutting material can produce smoke and dust which poses a health hazard. Using the first nibbler for cutting fiber composite materials of all types makes these challenges a thing of the past. The 360° tool means that the machine can be rotated on the spot. This allows you to quickly and precisely process three dimensional workpieces, and always have a clear view of the cutting line. FCN 250 nibbler easily cuts curves and in hard to reach areas. Nibbling produces very little dust, and optional vacuum connection attachment collects virtually all debris. Punches and dies change easily, without any tools. They are made from specially hardened steel for long service life. In 2mm material you can expect to cut 150 meters with one punch, and 300 meters with one die, before replacement.
